The Natural State Podcast: Episode 072 The history of perfect keto, problems with food manufacturing, lab-grown meat, sleep issues, and why blue zones may not be accurate.

Learn how our current food manufacturing system is all wrong and what it takes to change it.

I started my journey in Nutrition for purely self-care reasons. This has evolved to me wanting to help others feel their best. I know what it’s like to feel like garbage. Once you turn things around and feel great, you never want to go back. That’s a feeling I want everyone to know and feel!

My journey has evolved since having kids. I want to protect them from ever feeling like garbage. I want to protect their little guts and prevent them from developing any of the chronic diseases that are currently rampant in our nation.

My journey has come to a point now where I am learning more and more about our food manufacturing policies and more about the CRAP these companies are putting in processed foods. My family have taken steps to reduce as much of this crap from our diets as possible. What I’ve realized is that a lot of this stems from our advanced agriculture technology and how it has evolved to be the mass producing machine that it is. We lost touch with what’s sustainable and regenerative and we see the effects in not only our poor nutrition quality and thus more and more chronic diseases, but also poor environmental changes for the worse.

The more I practice nutrition and wellness with the people around me, the more I feel this is my calling. It’s time to take a serious look into our food and agriculture policies and get back to our roots. I applaud the farmers who are reverting back to more regenerative methods. You can show your support as well and shop local to support these farmers as they make the hard transition from the mass farming industry to smaller, more sustainable methods.

This podcast is just the beginning of a much larger conversation that needs to be had. But I love the bluntness of it all and I feel like these guys took what was in my head and just went ahead and said it. Check it out in your commute today and let’s continue the conversation.
